Late Summer Indoor Bouquet at the Farm 
I don't usually make bouquets anymore as I leave it all for the bees and insects to enjoy. After a banner year for butterflies last year, not many to be seen this summer. Though I did catch this Black Swallowtail enjoying the hydrangea blooms. 
It is always time for tea here. We make a giant pot and I drink a mug while it is fresh and leave the rest for Hubby. He can drink it warmed up in the microwave which is something I don't care for.

A bouquet from the farm garden

 Summer is moving right along. I've gotten a good swim in most days so far and it is doing my body good. A lot of the achiness has left me and I'm sleeping better at night. I think that being in the water is therapeutic in many ways.  I swim with more energy when I listen to music. Floral Bouquet from Wendy's Quilts and More

It's finished! 

I'm proud to reveal "Floral Bouquet" made from Kaffe Fassett's "Starry Night" pattern in Quilts in an English Village.  


 



I loved the Starry Night pattern, but I wanted to use some of my lighter floral Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics, so I teamed my fabrics with Tula Pink's pastel solids for this pattern and I love the result. 

The Cactus Flower print has some great motifs that are just crying out to feature in large blocks like these.
